The DTAS File Cache Flush Tool is a utility that runs periodically performing memory management on
Windows NT Server systems. This tool compensates for the poor memory management that Windows 4.0
does when dealing with large files. This utility will perform its management function once every five minutes
in a typical set-up. The rate at which this occurs is user settable. The operator can force an
immediate flush of the memory cache.
