Getting Data
There are three methods of selecting and retrieving data sets. The user can set all parameters manually, load a configuration file containing previously determined parameters, or use the Job Automation abilities to load one or more configuration files:
To manually select a data set
Select and log into a database (Settings menu)
If not already there, go to the Data Selection page by clicking first on the Data and then the Selection tabs
Select the mnemonics to analyze from the Select Mnemonics list
Set any desired data value filters in the Build Filters area
Set any desired data point filters in the Point Filter Frequency area
Set the time domain for the analysis in the Select Time Domain area.
The Counts area keeps track of the users settings.
The user can click on the Reset All button to clear all the settings with the exception of the Select Time Domain edit boxes. The user must then start again from item 3 above.
Click on the Retrieve Data button to begin the data download.
If the download is taking too long you can end it by clicking on the Abort button.
To load a Configuration File to make the data selection:
Select and log into a database (Settings menu)
Click on the Retrieve Data button to begin the data download.
If the download is taking too long you can end it by clicking on the Abort button.
To use the Job Automation capabilities to load data and produce products:

the Job
