The Project Database (PDB) Loader is a utility used to read the PDB files that the MOC
operations system creates. The data gathered is inserted into a mnemonic information table in the
short-term (AKA, Data Values) database. This information (such as limit values) is used in the operation of DTAS and
is also provided to end users through the tools provided. There are four PDB files used in this process -- each one is
read one-at-a-time.

To accommodate the different mnemonic lengths used by different missions, the user can select a
mnemonic character length of from 12 to 24 characters.
